Previously on LittlePinkTop, I told you how Barabara Corcoran hired her assistant and lifelong partner Esther because she noticed that her purse was “a small miracle of organization, a miniature file cabinet disguised as a fashion accessory.” Recently, I received a Brown Fringe Leather Sash Bag from the brand Sash for review here on LittlePinkTop. And I instantly realized that organization was its main feature, too! 

This bag was created by a busy mom, Nichole MacDonald, who applied her product design background to make a functional bag “to maximize organization and efficient storage.” Now that her accessory brand offers over 80 different styles of this crossbody design, Nichole humorously calls herself the Chief Bag Lady. 

The Sash Bag is really functional with a front pocket meant for things you frequently take in and out all day. It also has two zipped sections with slots for your cards and a smart cash pocket hidden behind those card slots. On top of that, it features a zippered back pocket for items that should be kept safe and snug, which makes it a great errand or travel bag!

I liked that this leather bag is pretty light, so you could fill it in with everything you might need during the day: lip balm, hand sanitizer, Band-Aids, keys, snacks, etc. The bag is made of soft leather, and I love how it just wraps around your body. Besides, it comes with an adjustable strap, which helps you set your desired length. 

I decided to style my Sash bag with a denim shirt dress and a matching pair of jeans. The fringe detail on the front of the bag adds a Western vibe, so I wanted to build an outfit around that.   

And just like that, I had everything I needed in one place! So, if you’re struggling with organization and always forget something, it might be time for a functional and funky crossbody bag.
